Congratulations, Official WoW Magazine! You just had your fifth issue. How are you going to celebrate? By going to…magazine heaven!
Lets face it, print is a dying media, especially when it covers something that fluctuates as much as an MMORPG. So it shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise when Blizzard announced today that they’re cancelling future issues. Subscribers have been emailed redemption codes for their choice of the following:
– A reimbursement plan from their remaining subscription owed.
– Six in-game pets for World of Warcraft.
Should you chose the reimbursement route, you must submit it in writing by September 30th.
Personally, I think it would have been nice to take the magazine online, with special incentives and interviews for subscribers. Maybe one day…
