Official Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Launch Trailer Released

Square Enix has released the official launch trailer for the completely rebuilt Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is set for launch January 28th, 2014 and has been completely rebuilt exclusively for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 systems.

The new rendition has been completely rebuilt so that players will be able to experience Tomb Raider more realistically, with a brand new model of Lara that brings her to life with realistic hair-movement and highlights her journey to becoming a hardened survivor by way of realistic blood, sweat, and mud effects.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition really takes advantage of the capacity of the next-gen consoles by re-creating a dynamic world which features real-life simulation of trees, foliage, fabric and weather, and accurate lighting simulation thanks to subsurface scattering technology. In-game characters and enemies have also been given a makeover to look more realistic.

All the original downloadable content is included in Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, plus some extra goodies like digital versions of the Dark Horse comics, a Brady Games mini art-book, and developer videos by Final Hours.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 systems on January 28th, 2014.
