Earlier this year The Legend of Zelda turned 25, and Nintendo has spent the majority of this year celebrating that achievement. Just like they did last year with the 25th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros. So far they have released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and on November 19th they will release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
That’s not all they have planed as today they have announced that they will launch a limited edition Zelda themed Nintendo 3DS will be released on the 25th of November. The bad news is that this release will be exclusive to just the European market, and there is no word if Nintendo has plans to make this limited edition Zelda themed 3DS available stateside or the rest of the world.
The design is very basic and rather subtle. It’s a black 3DS with golden trimmings that are inspired by the Zelda franchise. If you are someone that doesn’t want your 3DS to be an advertisement for a game then you might enjoy this design.
