Nintendo and Disney Bring Exclusives To GAMEFest

The UK’s leading game retailer today announced that Nintendo and Disney are the most recent additions to the UK’s most exciting gaming show. Five Nintendo titles, including, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising and Disney’s Disney Universe. All of these are available for gamers to experience at GAMEFest.

Fans of Zelda will be enticed by The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, with it offering full motion control, enabled by the Wii Motion Plus. The prequel title to Ocarina of Time involves all the bow firing and puzzle solving you’d expect from a Zelda game, all to find out where the evil Demon Lord Ghirahim has taken the princess.

Solid Snake will be making his first appearance on the 3DS, as well as Kid Icarus, which has been made available to play in the UK. Disney Universe also comes to the party, enabling up to four players to suit up as their favourite characters, facing various challenges in iconic Disney worlds. GAME UK marketing director Anna-Marie Mason said,

“From worlds inspired by Disney films to helping Nintendo’s world famous hero Link in Skyward Sword, we know gaming fans young and old will be in for a treat at this year’s GAMEfest. Thanks to the involvement of the industry’s top publishers, GAMEfest has something for the whole family to enjoy this September.”

All of the five titles will be playable at the event, which is promising to be a worthy visit for any gamer. Tickets are available via the website, and also instore.
