Not everyone is focused on the software coming up for the Wii U. Owners of the Nintendo 3DS want to know what’ll be coming to their handheld next year. Today, we got answers.
While it wasn’t quite the system seller Nintendo might have thought, Luigi’s Mansion was still an enjoyable, albeit short, Gamecube title. The 3DS sequel, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, is shaping up to be an expansion in every sense of the world. New puzzles and harder challenges were promised when the game launches in the first quarter of 2013.
Brain Age: Concentration Training promises to solve the problem people have of “memory concentration.” It also promises a steeper difficulty curve.
Fire Emblem: Awakening is due out February 4th. The long wait is almost over. We’re shown various in-game cutscenes, 3D anime movies, and teased at the depth the Fire Emblem series is known for regarding it’s main characters. This has the makings of a full blown RPG mixed with a full blown strategy title. Suffice to say, this could be the best 3DS game to come out in all of 2013.
We were promised free DLC for New Super Marios Bros. 2. Today, were were told that DLC would be available later today.
Meanwhile, from the “Straight From Japan” department, we were shown a, erm, game that involves throwing people at people. Tokyo Crash Mobs is coming to the Nintendo eShop and, well, I have no idea what the heck to say about it. Just, “oh you, Japan!”
HarmoKnight, a musical platformer from GameFreak, was also announced for a local release.
