Night City Wire: A Cyberpunk 2077 Exclusive Look

The first iteration of CD Projekt Red’s Night City Wire as just given us a ton of new information about Cyberpunk 2077 and its world. We have been following this game for a few years now and we couldn’t be more excited. If you missed the stream, you can check it out HERE.

We can already see that CD Projekt Red has a plan for Cyberpunk 2077 to live on for a long time. If The Witcher is any indication of what we can expect, this game will be played and expanded upon for years. The first thing we saw during Night City Wire was a brand new gameplay trailer. This trailer focuses on the prologue and we can tell that there is a large amount of content in just this one piece of the game. Some journalist were able to get hands on with this prologue and it seems like they were nowhere close to seeing a lot of what was in the trailer.

Not too long ago, a new Cyberpunk comic book was announced and today we got news about a new anime that it is in the works. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners follows a street kid trying to survive in Night city. In order to stay alive, he chooses to becoming an edgerunner – a mercenary also known as a cyberpunk. This anime is a partnership between CD Projekt Red, Netflix, and the famous Studio Trigger. This 10 episode story is set to release in 2022. This may seem far away but there will be a ton of Cyberpunk content to take in between now and it’s release.

There is a lot to digest from this short stream but there are a ton of people out there that were lucky enough to get hands on with the game. Be on the look out for more information as we get closer to Cyberpunk 2077’s release this November.
