Nicki Minaj Getting Her Very Own Mobile Game

It looks like Kim Kardashian isn’t the only one jumping into the gaming sphere. Nicki Minaj will be debuting a video game as well.

The same company who made Kim Kardashian’s mobile game, Glu, will be making Nicki Minaj’s game. If you think the game sounds uninteresting or a bit out of place, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood was a huge success in the mobile games world. According to business-insider, the game made $1.6 million in its first week on the app store.

Nicki Minaj’s game will include the star’s voice and likeness, according to USAtoday.

“We look forward to combining Nicki’s distinctive style and massive global appeal with Glu’s celebrity social gaming expertise,” Glu CEO Niccolo de Masi said in a statement via USAtoday.

We’ll see if games like this prove to be successful when Nicki Minaj’s game is released in the future or if Kim Kardashian: Hollywood was an isolated incident.

Developer Glu also has contracts with stars like Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. It looks like Nicki Minaj won’t be the last celebrity-inspired mobile game to hit app stores anytime soon.
