As November approaches, many gamers look forward to Activision and the next installment of Call of Duty. There is indeed a great deal of expectation surrounding Call of Duty: WWII, which is cutting off from futuristic warfare beats and returning to its historical roots.
While the official release is still several weeks away, Sledgehammer Games and Activision are already working on its multiplayer facet with the help of the community. For that purpose, the second week of the game’s beta is already live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will continue to do so until September 4, offering a small taste of the next Call of Duty with selected content on top. Please be aware that if you wish to take part in this beta, you will need to pre-order the game though!
Call of Duty: WWII Beta Details in a Nutshell
Week #2 of this beta brings the same features from the previous beta week, plus some extra goodies. For instance, players will experience a brand new map, Aachen. Located in a war-torn city in Western Germany, Aachen brings a fair share of dangerous open streets and crunched buildings, where sneaky enemies await. You can get a better idea of this setting’s nooks and crannies in the flythrough trailer down below.
On top of that, players will be able to reach level 40 (previously the cap was on 24), play around with new weapons and experience a brand new Capture-the-Flag mode. Of course, glimpses on the single player campaign or the all-new social Headquarters feature are off limits as of now. Sledgehammer is keeping the full details of these under wraps until the game launches properly on November 3.
