New Gold Zelda 3DS XL Confirmed For North America

A few weeks ago it was confirmed that Nintendo would be releasing a gold Zelda-themed 3DS XL in Europe, but it’s now confirmed to release in North America as well. The Legend of Zelda themed gold Nintendo 3DS XL will be releasing on November 22 in celebration of the release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Two Worlds on the same day.

The 3DS XL bundle will come with a code to download a digital copy of the game. The suggested retail price for the handheld is priced at $219.99. There’s still time left to pre-order a bundle and if you do so from GAME in the UK and you’ll also get a little miniature, musical chest as a bonus. There’s no word on any pre-order bonuses in North America at this time.

Nintendo has also been running a promotion they’ve dubbed The Year of Luigi since around this past year’s E3 event. To celebrate, Nintendo will also be releasing a Luigi themed 3DS XL on November 1 to celebrate. It would be a smart move to at least bundle it with Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, but for the time being it’ll just be the handheld by itself.
