During this weekend’s PAX East shenanigans, Gun Media and Illfonic held a new Friday The 13th panel where they revealed a new look for the masked killer along with a new trailer showcasing some of the game’s kills.
First off, the developer showcased a new trailer spotlighting more gruesome kills from the upcoming asymmetrical multiplayer title. As you can see, Jason will use anything at this disposal to rid his territory of unwanted guests. Ironically enough, the trailer features a track dubbed “Killer” from Swedish glam metal band Crazy Lixx.
And second of all, Jason’s new look, which has been designed by the great Tom Savini himself, gives a new hellish look to the antagonist of the Friday the 13th franchise. The skin was inspired by “what would have happened to Jason after Part 9; Jason has escaped Hell.”
Friday The 13th is still scheduled for an “Early” 2017 release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game, along with the Tom Savini designed skin, can be still be pre-ordered right here. Gun Media also released the full PAX Panel over their Youtube channel.
