New Brink Matchmaking Update + DLC Info

After facing some pretty mixed reviews (albeit a bit more on the negative side), Bethesda has begun the task of improving their game and the first title update has been released. Additionally, they also announced that new downloadable content will be available sometime in June.

The update that has gone live (no download required) fixed a few bugs a glitches, as well as puts a cap on the number of human players when matchmaking in campaign or freeplay, putting the limit at 8 players in hopes that it will create a better connetion between players, since lag has been a major complaint. Since this would eliminate the 8v8 matches, they’ve created a “big team” playlist and added it to the private match for those who have not had any complaints about the lag and still want to enjoy it.

PC also received an update which includes all of the updates that the Xbox 360 has received so far. PlayStation 3 players will receive the update as soon as the PS Network is back up and running.
