New Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Stealth Gameplay Trailer

As the release for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag creeps closer, excitement for some changes to the Assassin’s Creed series is being greatly received. Black Flag is looking to bring some fresh ideas and new gameplay mechanics to the now long running series. Most of the focus has been shifted to naval combat and sailing the open seas of the Caribbean for some treasure hunting and fort control. Ubisoft still has not forgotten what makes Assassin’s Creed what it is by releasing a new trailer for the stealth gameplay players will find in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag.

In the gameplay trailer premiered at this year’s Gamescom, we can see Edward Kenway, the main protagonist, stealthily following his targets, through jungles, on rooftops, and in the city streets. We get a glimpse of some familiar tactics and weapons, mainly, the hidden blades which are found in their very convenient usual position. The trailer also showcases some of the combat players will experience, including dual wielding swords, using poison blow darts, and up close pistol finishing moves.

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will launch October 29, 2013 for PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360, and Wii U, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later on.
