New Action RPG Hits Kickstarter

Indie developer Tiny Shark Interactive has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for their newly annouced open world RPG: Exzore: The Rising. The crowdfunding campaign will run through September 18 and has a goal of £50,000 (roughly $64 000 USD). If the crowndfunding is successful, they are currently aiming a 2018 release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Exzore: The Rising is in the medieval world of Eogaan where players, as Damien Clive, seek revenge and retribution as they’ve been stabbed in the back. Tiny Shark Interactive promises new and unique features to make it an original experience. Players will be able to equip and use up to 6 mechanical gadgets for help in battle and exploration. The developer also implemented a new Affinity system where the amount of XP gained by the player is affected by how the story unfolds and how the player interacts with the world. Tiny Shark Interactive also promises an extensive combat system where players can mix a handful of the protagonist’s combos.

The world of Eogaan is split into four factions with their own distinct rules, community and agendas. As players go through the story, your interactions with each of the four groups will impact your progression. Basically, if you favor one group over the others, you’ll be rewarded with special missions, benefits and even abilities. Seeing as each faction has their own agendas, decision making will be crucial as it will impact the ending.

Thankfully, players won’t be alone through this story as the protagonist has Icarus, a Golden Eagle, by his side at all times. Icarus can spot spot targets or treasures and even provide some backup in combat.

Tiny Shark Interactive also brings Eogaan to life through season change, weather and day-night cycle. Additionally, each character the protagonist will cross path with, whether it be a simple town person or a deadly enemy, can get smarter as the player levels up.

To make things more interesting, the developer is also looking to make sure that every quest can be approached from different angles in order to make things more unpredictable and challenging.
