Netflix Arrives In Latin America And The Caribbean

The world’s largest TV and movie subscription service is smashing into 43 countries. Launched today in Brazil, and in 43 other countries by September the 12th, Latin America and The Caribbean can now stream their favourite TV shows and movies to computers, games consoles, and other internet connected gadgets – all for a low monthly price.

If you’re reading this from the lovely country that is Brazil, you can begin a free one-month trial at netflix.com

Netflix is wildly popular, with more than 25 million members in the U.S and Canada. With such a massive library of shows and movies available to watch, and the ability to watch on a wide range of internet-connected devices, it’s no surprise that it is so popular. Reed Hastings, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Netflix says,

“We are excited to be bringing Netflix to Latin America and the Caribbean”

“People throughout the region are online in ever-greater numbers and they love movies and TV shows. We are proud to bring them the Netflix experience of instantly enjoying as many movies and TV shows as they want, when they want for one low price.”

“It is an amazing privilege for us to travel through the region, introducing Netflix to consumers in Latin America and the Caribbean”

“We are committed to offering the same great service, value and choice throughout the Americas and we can’t wait to get started.”
