Square Enix has gradually been revealing details on Murdered: Soul Suspect for over a year now. This week we learn that the supernatural mystery thriller will make its way to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in addition to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
Murdered: Soul Suspect follows Ronan O’Connor, a Salem, MA police detective charged with solving the mystery of his own brutal murder. While trapped in a limbo world called Dusk, players take on the role of O’Connor’s ghost in an adventure that’s one part film noir, another part Die Hard, and every bit as creepy as The Mothman Prophecies.
Murdered: Soul Suspect is being developed by Airtight Games, a Seattle-based studio responsible for titles like Dark Void and Quantum Conundrum. Publisher Square Enix says the game will support 1080p for new-gen consoles.
Look for Murdered: Soul Suspect this June. In the meantime, check out the game’s newest trailer below.
