With the recent release of Sonic Adventure and the upcoming Crazy Taxi, Sega has just announced two more Dreamcast games that will be hitting XBLA and PsN in early 2011: Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 Part 2.
Sega Bass Fishing was released in 1999 and was playable with a standard Dreamcast controller or you could use a more “realistic” fishing rod to play it.
Space Channel 5 Part 2 was released for the Dreamcast in Japan and in Europe 2002 and then released as a double pack with the original game for North America in 2003. Space Channel 5 Part 2 is a music game where you have to follow the dance steps done by the character on the screen.
“The release of these games marks SEGA’s ongoing effort to bring its best-sellers from the Dreamcast era to the latest consoles. We want to enable a new generation of players to experience some of the most celebrated titles our video game history has to offer, while at the same time appealing to our enthusiastic and much appreciated community of fans.” – Haruki Satomi, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA.
Both games will be available sometime in early 2011 for PsN and XBLA and hopefully more Dreamcast games will follow.
