The Moogle Chocobo Carnival Comes to Final Fantasy XV

Moogle Chocobo Festival - Final Fantasy XV

Need a little more magic in your Final Fantasy XV? Maybe you just need a break from the action and need some relaxing down time. Either way, the Moogle Chocobo Carnival could be your answer.

What exactly is the Moogle Chocobo Carnival? It is an in-game event for Final Fantasy XV that launches today for all players. The Moogle Chocobo Carnival is a limited time event that runs from now until Feburary 20th. I could tell you what the carnival entails but why talk about it when you can see it for yourself above?

Get Your Vacation On

In fact, this is very reminiscent of the Golden Saucer days of Final Fantasy VII – an in-game area that removes you from all the RPG action and gives you a bunch of mini games to keep you entertained. As seen in the trailer you can play a few different games, like Chocobo Races, Shooting Ranges and more. You’ll be able to get a new outfit for Noctis, indulge on themed cuisine, watch a firework show and more.

So how do you make your way down to the Moogle Chocobo Carnival? First, you need to have the Holiday Pack add-on. Fret not, this add-on is free on both the Xbox Store and Playstation store. Owners of the Season Pass that have access to the Holiday Pack also are able to enjoy the carnival. All in all, after you have that DLC simply just use the Carnival Passport and you are on your way.
