MMA Fighter Georges St. Pierre Collaborating on Sleeping Dogs

Square Enix London Studios, a part of Square Enix Europe, announced today that legendary Mixed Martial Artist, Georges St. Pierre (known to the MMA world as GSP) is collaborating with Square Enix and United Front Games on an open world cop drama titled Sleeping Dogs.

St. Pierre has helped contribute to the development on the project with various elements including combat within the game.
Working with Square Enix has been an incredible opportunity. I’m really impressed to see how the hand-to-hand combat in the
game is shaping up – it’s been a great experience being involved.
GSP has been contributing to Sleeping Dogs on an ongoing basis. He’s consulting on elements in the game as well as keeping the public in the loop on the game’s progress.

Sleeping Dogs takes place within Hong Kong, where players assume the role of undercover cop Wei Shen. Intense firefights, adrenalin pumping street chases, and brutal mixed martial art fights can ensue at any moment in the dangerous streets of Hong Kong in the open world of Sleeping Dogs.

Lee Singleton, General Manager, Square Enix London, had the following to say about St. Pierre on the game:
When it comes to professional fighting, names don’t get much bigger than
GSP. We are thrilled with the expertise that GSP brings to Sleeping Dogs
Sleeping Dogs will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
