Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series Available for Download Now

Minecraft is getting the Telltale Games treatment and is available for download now.

Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series is a five-part episodic experience. Players can choose a male or female named Jesse, and embark on an adventure to find The Order of the Stone.

The game features a group of a friends voiced by well-known actors. Comedian Patton Oswalt plays the male version of Jesse and Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Catherine Taber plays the female version of Jesse. Other actors and actresses that you’ll be hearing in the game include Brian Posehn, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Billy West and many more.

Though the game is available for download today, a retail version will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 27th in North America and will be available on all these platforms plus PC in Europe October 30.

If you choose to purchase the  retail edition, you’ll be given access to the first episode and will receive newer episodes via download in future updates for the game.
