Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Gets Delayed on Last-Gen Consoles

One of this year’s most anticipated action title, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, has unfortunately been delayed on both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms. Originally scheduled to release alongside their current-gen counterparts on September 30th of this year, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive has not given a proper reasoning for this delay.

With a significantly scaled down “Nemesis system,” one can safely assume that the game needs some more polishing before it hits shelves later this year.

Fortunately, the current-gen version, developed by Monolith Productions, is unaffected by this delay. This means Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on the 30th of this month in the U.S. and on October 3rd across Europe. As for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version of the game, you’ll be able to explore the secrets of Mordor come November 18th in the US and November 21 in Europe.

Stay tuned for a possible update from Warner Bros. on this matter.
