Microsoft is about to close on a deal to acquire Skype, which is an online phone company that allows people to chat via microphone, text or talk from a computer to any phone or computer to computer.
This deal, reported by The Wall Street Journal, is said to be anywhere from $7 to $8 billion dollars.
Both companies have declined to speak and there is still a chance that this deal can fall through but we might in fact see an official announcement as early as Tuesday.
