Microsoft Showcase to Reveal Halo 4?

After we got the first trailer for the upcoming fourth installment in the Master Chief saga, Halo 4, not much has been heard about the game since. That may change later this month though. Finnish magazine Pelaaja is stating that Halo 4 will be revealed at Microsoft‘s Spring Showcase on February 29, 2012.

Halo 4, which is due out later this year, is the first game in the series to be developed by 343 Industries after Bungie sold the right to the franchise to Microsoft Games. A lot of fans of the series are anxiously awaiting the first real look at the game to see if 343 is looking to possibly take the series in another direction. If Pelaaja is correct, we may see the curtain finally pulled back a bit, possibly getting our first glimpse at the gameplay.

All of this is merely speculation at this point as nothing has been confirmed by Microsoft or 343 Industries. Keep checking back here at TGF for all the latest info regarding Halo 4.
