Here’s everything that was announced at Microsoft’s E3 Conference! There’s a ton of interesting stuff to mull over in the coming months.
Microsoft’s New Xboxes
Microsoft has finally confirmed some of new hardware rumors floating around the internet. An slimmer version of the Xbox One will be available for purchase in August of this year for $300. Additionally, there will be an Xbox One S, which will also be slimmer and have 4K video capabilities. Finally, there is the Project Scorpio console. The Scorpio will also feature 4K abilities, as well as six teraflops of performance power.
Gears of War 4
Microsoft has confirmed a Horde Mode 3.0 for the game. The Co-Op campaign will return to the classic formula of the earlier games of the series. There was also a stage demo featured. When the game is launched, there will be a special edition version that comes with an Xbox One Elite controller. The package is available for pre-order right now.
Sea of Thieves
A pirate themed co-op game was also revealed. The game will feature giant bosses and intense cooperative play. A stage demo was also presented for this game.
Scalebound
Platinum Games also revealed a new Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive game that will feature giant bosses and co-operative play. The developer of Bayoneta is no stranger to giant boss fights and intense gameplay. The stage demo featured a multiplayer boss fight against a huge scorpion crab creature.
Recore
A reveal trailer was featured for Recore. The game was created by Capcom luminary, Keji Inafune, and developer Armature, who created the Metroid Prime series.
Final Fantasy XV
Microsoft also showed off how Final Fantasy XV will look and play on the Xbox One. This one also shows off a battle against a massive creature.
Dead Rising 4
Dead Rising 4 was confirmed for release during the holiday 2016 season. Frank West, the main character of the original game, is going to make his return in this newest iteration. A trailer was shown.
Forza Horizon 3
The next edition for the racing series was confirmed with a trailer and a stage demo.
Halo Wars 2
A sequel to the Halo strategy game was confirmed with a trailer.
State of Decay 2
A new trailer for the zombie survival game was featured. It looks like it’ll be a pretty deep experience, as your characters help rebuild humanity.
Minecraft
Minecraft for the Xbox One will cross play with the PC version of the game.
Division DLC
The Division will get a new DLC package titled, “The Underground.”
Tekken 7
Tekken 7 got an announcement trailer. The game will be released in early 2017.
