Konami has released the details on the upcoming limited edition release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Packed with some pretty cool goodies, I think fans of the series will be pretty pleased.
The limited edition, limited to 25,000 units, will feature a 30cm (11.8-inch) figure of Raiden, a DLC code to access the “white armor,” which gives players a higher capacity of life-recovery items, as well as your choice of one of two very cool steelbook covers, depending on where you pre-order the game. Depending on which cover you choose, you will also have access to one of two additional DLC items.
The first of these two steelcook covers will be available at GAME and features a graphic of Raiden drawn by artist Yoji Shinkawa. Included with this cover will be the “inferno armor,” which increases the capacity of throwing weapons that Raiden can carry. The second steelbook, available at various independent retailers, features a nifty render of Raiden, and this cover will include the “commando armor,” which lets players access an increased number of projectile weapons.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available in the U.S. on February 19, 2013, and February 22 in the U.K.
