Mass Effect 2 to Have Another DLC

For those who play Mass Effect 2, you’ve noticed that the Cerberus Network has a computer with information and news for you to read on the main menu screen. Information is either about the latest DLC or something cute like information on what people of the Mass Effect universe did for New Year’s Eve.

The latest information from the Cerberus Network is that they will be taking a break once the one year anniversary hits on January 26th. There will be three more announcements before the release of Mass Effect 3. The first message will be regarding a new DLC for Mass Effect 2. Many thought that Lair of the Shadowbroker would be the final DLC but they were wrong. There’s no word on what the final DLC for Mass Effect 2 might be but I’m guessing it might bridge Mass Effect 2 with Mass Effect 3.

The final two messages that Cerberus Network will send out will be during the final weeks before the release of Mass Effect 3, which will be sometime in the fall/winter of 2011
