Just like the Xbox 360 and PC version of the game, we have learnt that the PS3 version of BioWare’s acclaimed RPG Mass Effect 2, which releases today, has been banned in the region.
Though there have been no official statement from the local National Media Council, it is understood that the game was banned for its open-ended sex scenes and partial nudity.
It would be interesting to see if the game will be banned from its PSN Store release as well. At the time of writing, the game has yet to appear on the UAE store. We will keep you tuned on that one.
