Rockstar has announced that they will be teaming up with Marvel to produce a comic tie-in to Max Payne 3. This comic series will bring up players up to speed on what has previously transpired in Max’s life. It will also shed more details into the man himself. It will be written by Dan Houser and Remedy’s Sam Lake, illustrated by Greg Horn and Fernando Blanco. The comic will be available in digital format, and limited print editions. Look for the first issue on the Rockstar Newswire and the Max Payne 3 Official Site.
So what do you think? Are you excited? The cutscenes and story were my favorite part of Max Payne 2, so hopefully this will continue is the same vein. I’m someone disappointed by the limited print editions, but we’ll have to see. Stay posted for more Max Payne 3 news.
