The past few days have been tough for the English. With looters and rioters striking London, and now other cities, the Police are doing all they can to put and end to the chaos.
Very early on Tuesday morning, rioters destroyed Sony’s Digital Audio Disc Corporation facility in Enfield, with eye witnesses seeing youths with petrol bombs shortly before the warehouse went up in flames. The warehouse is one of six that Sony has in Europe, and handles the distribution of Sony Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD blank media, and movies and games for the U.K.
Yoko Yasukochi, a spokeswoman at the Japanese electronics and entertainment conglomerate in Tokyo, had this to say.
“There will likely be some impact on deliveries.” “We cannot determine the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage yet because it’s not possible to enter the building.”
The looters were seen fleeing the scene with Sony products.
