Any reason for us to get more The Last of Us is a good reason. We’ve heard about a new single-player mode for the past couple of months, and now it’s finally here. The Last of Us fans, prepare yourself for a new single-player difficulty that is sure to be the hardest mode yet: Grounded. Coming soon to the PS3, The Last of Us Grounded Bundle will provide single-player fans with a new game mode, and multiplayer fans with new maps, new weapons, and new survival skills. For non-season pass holders, Grounded mode will cost $4.99.

The Grounded Bundle will include four new multiplayer maps, known as the Reclaimed Territories Map Pack:
- Wharf
- Capitol
- Coal Mine
- Water Tower
Set in familiar environments from the game, these multiplayer maps are perfect for close combat, flanking, and strategizing with your team to end up on top. The multiplayer maps will cost non-season pass holders $9.99.
Along with new multiplayer maps, players will also gain access new weapons and new survival skills. The Survivalist Weapon Bundle will include:
- Spectre – Silenced assault rifle
- Double Barrel – High-powered double barrel shotgun
- Enforcer – Pistol with precision accuracy
- Launcher – Explosive launcher
There are two separate survival skills bundles that you can use to your advantage: The Situational Survival Skills Bundle and the Professional Survival Skills Bundle. You can level up these specific skills and become a stronger survivor. The Situational Survival Skills Bundle will include:
- Agility – Faster movement
- Awareness – Ability to see enemy nametags on screen
- Fortitude – More opportunity to stay alive longer
- Scavenger – Automatically pick up ammo and supplies
and the Professional Survival Skills Bundle will include:
- Gunslinger – Spawn with more ammo
- Bombs Expert – Bombs explode more quickly and you become immune to the stun
- Executioner – Earn more points for shiv kills and special executions
- Damage Marker – Automatically marks enemies that you hit
Both of these Survival Skills Bundles will cost $3.99 each for non-season pass holders.
As a free bonus for everyone, whether they have a season pass or not, players will receive the Full-Auto rifle, a fully-automatic burst rifle!
It is important to note that the Season Pass will no longer be available to purchase after May 13th, so if you’d like to get all of the DLC and save a few bucks, you should head on over to the PlayStation Store and purchase it digitally! Season pass holders save over 80% when they have the season pass as opposed to paying full cost for each DLC pack individually, and if you’re a huge multiplayer fan, then the season pass is perfect for you!
