Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix has been Announced

When Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX was announced, many wished and assumed that a remastering of the second Kingdom Hearts game would follow. Those who speculated were right! Today Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix will be launching sometime next year and will come with two games that were once exclusive to the Japanese market. First off, we have Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix that originally came out for the Playstation 2. The second game is from the PSP system, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. Also included in the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix will be the cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts Re:coded from the Nintendo DS.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix will be out in 2014 exclusively for the Playstation 3 system. These remastered releases are leading up to Kingdom Hearts III which will be out for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One video games systems eventually.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix has been out for a few weeks now for the Playstation 3 system. This compilation includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories and the cut scenes for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
