The Kindle Fire has 95,000 Units Preordered

Amazon is determined to use the Kindle brand and a cheap price point to try and be the first tablet to put a dent in Apples empire. The Amazon Kindle fire is a $200 Android tablet with a custom UI tailored for Kindle and Kindle app users. The home screen is similar to that of the Kindle app on android and combines all of Amazon’s services in a stream lined interface. The Kindle Fire plays off it’s brand name relating to fire in Amazon’s new ad campaign.
