Just Cause 3 Is Real, Coming To Xbox One, PS4, PC

Game Informer’s December issues features the announcement of Just Cause 3, the newest entry in the over-the-top open-world FPS franchise from Avalanche Studios.

The game’s last entry in the series, Just Cause 2, released in 2010, was met with plenty of fanfare and developed a cult-like following. One can assume with the move to new consoles that the world will be bigger and the set pieces will be grander. Game Informer was able to sit down with developer Avalanche Studios for a few hours for a hands-on report, which will be available in the December issue.

As for new features, we learn today of the wingsuit, helping players fly through the air as they shoot everything in sight. In addition, the game will see a full retail release, relevant news due to leaks that suggested Just Cause 3 might be a free-to-play title with microtransactions.

Are you excited for Just Cause 3? My GameStop manager was extremely happy to hear the news. Should you share their excitement, don’t be afraid to sound off in the comments below.
