Injustice: Gods Among Us Trailer

NetherRealm Studios and Ed Boon will be testing fate with a new fighting game series based out of the DC Universe. They want to bring gamers an epic experience with Injustice: Gods Among Us. The studio hopes to bring great storytelling to an already enriched universe.

With a title like Injustice, one can’t help but to speculate that characters from the Injustice League might make an appearance in this game.

After viewing the Injustice trailer for the first time, I can’t help but to think about 2008’s Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe game. With Injustice: Gods Among Us, the game solely focuses on the DC Universe instead of trying to deal with multiple universes. Here you will have DC‘s greatest heroes and possibly their doppelgangers take fight.

The video shows off both heroes and villains such as Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Superman, Grundy and Harley all fighting in iconic areas around the DC Universe.

Injustice is set to be relased for the Wii U, Ps3 and XB360 systems sometime in 2013.
