Injustice Gods Among Us Enters the Fighting Game Genre

No matter the gaming generation, we’ve all heard of Mortal Kombat. Even if you’ve never played it, if you’re into video games in any way, you’ve heard of it. From NetherRealm Studios, the makers of the Mortal Kombat franchise, comes Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Scheduled for a 2013 release for the Wii U, XB360 and Ps3 systems, Injustice: Gods Among Us is sill somewhat a mystery.

“We can’t wait to reveal Injustice: Gods Among Us because it will give our fans and gamers an epic experience as they battle like gods as their favourite DC Comics villains and heroes.” – Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios Creative Director.

If knowing that NetherRealm Studios is working on another fighting game franchise isn’t enough to get you excited, than knowing that it will feature heroes and villains from the DC universe should. This means Batman vs Superman battles, and where gamers fight as The Flash, Wonder Woman and countless others.

Check out their official website that lacks information now, however you can see a piece of beautifully done artwork. GameSpot has a nice teaser trailer here to kick start the excitement for Injustice: Gods Among Us.
