Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Arena Quarter-Finals Begin

Another week, another round of the Battle Arena for Injustice: Gods Among Us. As the countdown to the game’s April 16th launch on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U continues, WB Games and Netherrealm Studios have released another batch of gameplay videos for their Battle Arena series, which pits the game’s playable characters against each other in fights that have their outcomes determined by fan vote. If you go to the game’s website and vote for each match, you’ll also be entered into weekly drawings for DC Comics merchandise, including a copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us, an arcade fight stick, graphic novels, statuettes, and more.

This week, it’s Wonder Woman vs. Batman and Flash vs. Joker in the video above, while the video below features a discussion on Superman vs. Green Arrow and Green Lantern vs. Aquaman with Stan Lee of all people. Since this is basically an online popularity contest, I expect the final round to feature Superman vs. Batman, with Batman winning, because the Internet has decreed that Batman is the best at everything.

If that does end up happening, it’ll be reminiscent of the game’s storyline: Superman finally gets pushed too far and ends up taking over the world, ruling with an iron Kryptonian fist until Batman decides to revolt.
