If you were worried that Sony would try to wedge multiplayer into the InFamous series with the upcoming PS4-exclusive InFamous: Second Son, you can rest easy. Sony‘s Ken Schramm told the media in Taiwan that the InFamous experience will remain the same for Second Son, despite appearing on a new platform and having a new protagonist, right down to the ability to take on side quests without having to finish up the main story, while pointing out that the game’s “Karma” system will be returning: depending on whether you play heroically or as a villain, some quests will be off-limits for you.
He also mentioned that the game’s superpowers (so far all that have been revealed are “smoke” and “neon”) will have an impact on the game’s environment, which he said could actually be considered its own character. To demonstrate that point, Sony has released a new trailer, showing off how much detail the developers put into their own version of Seattle. Check it out:
InFamous: Second Son is still on track for a March 21st release. Be sure to check back here for the latest developments in what looks like a must-buy for PS4 owners looking for something new to sink their claws into.
