The Hype Machine – PAYDAY: The Heist

If you haven’t already heard about PAYDAY: The Heist, then you are missing out. It looks like it could be an absolute marvel of a game, involving intricately designed bank robberies and sharp gameplay.

TGF played it at E3 and fell in love with it, and apparently a lot of fanatics have as well, judging by the preliminary results of the poll we put out yesterday. Everyone out there who’s strapped for cash has at some point wondered if they’d be able to get away with a large scale robbery. Well now you’ll have a chance to do just that, in the consequence free safety of the gaming world.

PAYDAY: The Heist is a downloadable game intending to deliver a unique spin on the FPS genre. With six heists available from launch, the non-scripted enemy behaviour makes every heist unique. The fast paced co-op gameplay coupled with factors such as hostage trading makes this game incredibly fun to play.

The game is set for release on October 4, on PS3 and PC.

Check out the gameplay video for a taste of the action. If you’re under 18 then close your eyes and don’t watch!
