Heroes of the Storm Gets Ready for Christmas with its Winter Veil Event

Winter Veil

Heroes of the Storm starts its very own holiday celebration with Winter Veil. The event comes from December 14th until January 4th full of gifts and XP boosts.

The holiday season is arriving fairly soon and online games are getting all tuned and ready for it. The Overwatch holiday event is launching tomorrow worldwide and today is the turn of Blizzard’s MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. The annual Winter Veil event is coming again from December 14th to January 4th and although it does not bring crazy novelties to the table, it certainly offers a couple of incentives for you to log in and play a bit. Let’s see what we have in stock!

Winter Veil

Winter Veil in a Nutshell

If you play 25 full games (Heroes Brawls are not counted here) you will receive already two rewards. There’s a thematic snowflake portrait for your collection and also a Festive Treasure Goblin Mount. This good-looking chap was already available to players during the Winter Veil festival of last year but it had the restriction of being playable only during the event. The Blizzard team has followed the wishes of the community here and they are offering the mount without the time restriction so you’ll keep it forever.

On top of this, each game you play during Winter Veil will grant you 25% bonus XP and there will be a special Brawl mode available. Details about this one have not been shared although everything pinpoints to a special “chilly” Brawl that will disappear once Winter Veil is over. You will also find some exclusive and limited offers in the shop. If you wish to know more, head to this dedicated blog post.

Since the event is lasting three full weeks, it should be possible for you to get all these goodies. Are you playing some Heroes of the Storm this holiday season? Let us know in the comment section down below!
