Here's Our First Look At Telltale's Game of Thrones

Brace yourselves. An adventure game is coming to Westeros. Telltale Games has released a teaser for their upcoming Game of Thrones Series.

Players will follow the story of House Forrester, whom are loyal to House Stark. This can only mean very bad things for the five Forrester members we will control.

Popular characters from the Song of Ice and Fire franchise will make an appearance in the game, including Tyrion Lannister, Cersei Lannister, Margaery Tyrell, and Ramsay Snow. Peter Dinklage, Lena Heady, Natalie Dormer, and Iwan Rheon will be performing the roles respectively. A press release states that additional cast members will appear in later episodes, but no further details were given.

Telltale Games Presents Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series

With the exception of “soon,” no release date was announced. It should be noted that the series will feature six episodes, not the traditional five we’ve become accustomed to from recent Telltale Games franchises.

Playing as five different characters, each with various links to House Forrester, will have interesting effects on the game itself. The choices made by one character will affect the rest of the House. It’ll be interesting to see just how many variations of the story we’ll end up seeing.

The first episode, entitled “Iron From Ice,” will debut on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and iOS. Additional platforms will be announced in the future.
