Hearthstone Out Now on Android Tablets and Comes with a Free Card Pack

Blizzard’s free-to-play Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is out now on Android Tablets.

Get ready for some turn-based card combat set in the Warcraft universe. To promote the Android release, players will get a free pack of Classic cards by simply completing a game on an Android tablet.

“Sheathe your sword, draw your deck, and get ready for Hearthstone – the fast paced strategy card game that’s easy to learn and massively fun. Start a free game on Battle.net and play your cards to sling spells, summon creatures, and command the heroes of Warcraft in duels of epic strategy.”

Late 2014 has been great for fans of the digital collectible card game, with a significant expansion, spectator mode and now the long awaited Android version. Windows, iPad and Android tablet users can now play at home and on the go whenever and wherever they want. Getting your fix of the pack opening, deck building competition couldn’t be easier.

Hearthstone is now on most major platforms and is coming to Android and iOS smartphones soon. Console versions haven’t been announced, but it could be on the cards now mobile platforms have been covered. It was released for both the Amazon App store and Google Play, this means Kindle Fire users haven’t been left out and it even leaves BlackBerry users a chance for some CCG goodness in the future.

Hearthstone Out Now on Android Tablets and Comes with Free Card Pack

The Curse of Naxxramas expansion was released earlier in the year. It added five single-players wings to tackle, rewarding the player with 30 unlockable cards and provided fun filled boss fights. Goblins vs Gnomes introduced 143 new cards and is just over a week old. Hearthstone is still recovering from the new mechanics and strategies, so it’s the perfect time for new players to jump in and shake things up a little.

Hearthstone’s Minimum Requirements for Android Tablets:

  • Hardware: 6-inch screen or larger
  • Operating System: Android 4.0 or later
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now available for free on Windows, Mac, iPad and Android. iPhone and Android smartphone versions are coming Early 2015.
