It’s no secret that Microsoft will be revealing more details on Project Scorpio as well as the long-awaited launch date. This has left fans wondering about the first-party exclusives and the lack of real announcements. Phil Spencer hopes to alleviate some fan concerns by letting them know what to expect from the upcoming Xbox E3 conference.
This does not imply that the Xbox E3 will be entirely software related but it is necessary if Scorpio hopes to succeed. Hardware that will run games in native-4K is great but without a real first-party lineup, the premium Xbox console will certainly fail.
Expect to see a launch line-up revealed as well as gameplay for already announced titles such as Sea of Thieves, Shadow of War, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3. Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2017 briefing will be held on June 11th, 2017 at 2 pm PST/ 5 pm EST.
