This month’s free content update for Halo 5: Guardians is just around the corner, offering new maps, skins, and most of all…the Halo 2 Battle Rifle.
343 Industries just dropped the latest trailer for Infinity’s Armory, January’s content update for Halo 5: Guardians. Like all of these planned monthly updates, Infinity’s Armory sets to brings a host of new multiplayer maps and unlockables. First up we have Urban, a Warzone Assault variant of the previously released Noctus map. There’s also Riptide, an Arena “remix” of the popular underground research facility, Fathom.
If customization has you more interested in the long run, you’re in for a treat. Halo 5: Guardian’s newest update is going to bring nearly a dozen new weapon skins to unlock, nifty and colorful emblems, three unique armor sets – Atlas, Achilles, and Mark V Alpha – and the most important REQ item of all: The Halo 2 Battle Rifle. It looks beautiful. It sounds beautiful. We want it now.
Be sure to check out the trailer for all this goodness on display, and then head over to Halo Waypoint to read last week’s detailed outline of all the content. Infinity’s Armory is coming to Halo 5: Guardians sometime next week.
