According to a Steam listing, Grand Theft Auto 5 will, ‘take full advantage of the power of the PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements including increased resolution and graphical detail, denser traffic, greater draw distances, upgraded AI, new wildlife, and advanced weather and damage effects for the ultimate open world experience.”
While Grand Theft Auto 5 was announced at E3 2014 for new-gen consoles as well, if history is any indication, then the PC version will undoubtedly be the superior one. One can only imagine that Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto Online will look as good if not better than Watch Dogs did at its initial reveal during E3 2012.
Along with the enhanced graphics and features, Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC will also have a video editor designed specifically for movie-making.
Furthermore, the listing assures that all content released since launch will be included in the PC release and current players can transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is currently slated for a Fall 2014 release.
