Good News for Justice League Fans: We'll See More of the Heroes Together in the Near Future

Warner Bros. is hoping to have a Justice League movie on the silver screens by 2015, but until then, they want to get us used to seeing Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash together. Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment will achieve this by way of new video games and feature films,  to name a few things. As far as video games are concerned, the Justice League has already appeared together in last month’s Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, and they will reunite in next year’s Injustice: Gods Among Us, but they will also be seen in an in-development prequel to Rocksteady Studio‘s series that began with Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. The prequel will revolve around Batman and the Joker’s first meeting, and is based DC’s 1950’s comic books that show when Batman and other heroes formed the Justice League. The title was not discussed at E3, so it will likely appear in 2014 at the earliest.

To get fans used to seeing the Justice League on their TV screens, Warner Home Video released its animated feature-length picture titled Justice League: Doom back in February, and Cartoon Network launched a DC Nation programming block during the spring as well. This fall, The CW will premiere Arrow, a show about the Green Arrow.

Other projects featuring the Justice League include DC Entertainment‘s “We Can be Heroes” campaign in January. Singer Chris Daughtry was the ambassador of the campaign, which used the Justice League characters to educate the public on the issue of hunger in Africa. At Comic-Con, DC will be hosting an art exhibit titled “Darkness & Light: Art Inspired by Heroes & Villains, Hope & Heroism” at the Michael J Wolf gallery, and sales will benefit  the campaign.

In the near future, we can expect to see the Justice League together, not only on screen and in video games, but in books and action figures as well. This is very fortunate for fans of the Justice League, as more and more emphasis will be put on them during the coming years, until the grand finale, a brand new Justice League movie.
