Good news for PS3 owners. The legendary GoldenEye 007 is set for release on November 1st, with a ‘Double ‘O’ Edition’ exclusive to PS3.
Another extra for PS3 gamers, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded will feature a free, downloadable character. Hugo Drax from the 1979 Bond film Moonraker, will be playable in online and split-screen multiplayer modes. He’ll also be brandishing his Moonraker Laser Pistol. Rob Dyer, Senior Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment of America said:
“If any game has been tailor-made for the PlayStation Move and Sharp Shooter, it’s GoldenEye 007: Reloaded”
“This is a reimagining of one of the most revered and iconic shooters of all time, and we wanted to allow our PlayStation fans to truly step into the shoes of everyone’s favorite secret agent with the unparalleled control of Sony Computer Entertainment’s motion-based entertainment.”
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded will no doubt be a crucial title for any Bond fans, any FPS fans in fact. In addition to the story campaign and multiplayer, the game also offers an all new mode – Mi6 Ops Missions. These challenge players to complete different assault, elimination and stealth and defense objectives. This new mode sounds like it’s quite similar to the Spec Ops mode in Modern Warfare 2, but who knows, it could end up being much better. Either way, Golden Eye 007: Reloaded is looking damn fine.
