Looks like the most gruesome killer to take place on the Playstation platform is not so perfect. It was shown earlier today that the Official Playstation Magazine based in the UK gave the moster title a nine. Yep, you read it right.
Don’t think it was intentional though, the reviewer, Nathan Ditum, stated it was barely close to a ten. He followed with this statement:
The game is inches away from scoring 10/10, and it’s only the familiarity of the core gameplay that makes it feel less than the very, very best.
But it’s definitely the biggest, and if this is the finale (and the corpses littering the stage by the end of the game suggest it might be), then God of War III gives PlayStation’s toughest hero the send-off he deserves.
Over at the PS Blog, Anthony Caiazzo stated that Spike TV will release a trailer tonight at 12:30am. That’s right you have to stay up to see Kratos in all his mighty. He also stated that GameStop will have an awesome pre-order bonus to those who really want the game. You will be able to receive a 17×24 poster signed by Andy Park (sorry David Jaffe).
Geoff Keighley recently tweeted that a new God of War III trailer is only the start of a new coverage.
God of War III is set to release March 16th in the US and March 25th in Japan. There is speculation that the game will release March 19th in the UK, but neither Sony nor Santa Monica confirmed it.
