Goat Simulator Is Becoming An MMO. Seriously

If you thought you were done with Goat Simulator, think again. The joke of a game that just won’t die is getting a pretty hefty patch next week.

Dubbed Goat MMO Simulator, the free patch (yes, free) will add MMO-style content to the game. It will feature a total of six classes, outlined here, and release on November 20th.

Whether or not the game will actually be online seems to be pretty vague. The trailer (yes, there’s a trailer) showcases gameplay found in an MMO. A key component of the genre, though, is playing online with thousands of people. Personally, I don’t expect that to actually take place; you’ll just essentially play an offline MMO as a goat because why the heck not.

The patch requires the full game, which is currently $9.99 on Steam. Don’t be surprised if it shows up during the Winter Steam Sale.

If you’ll excuse me now, I have to question everything I thought I knew about life.
