GDC 2012: Gameplay Trailer for War of the Roses Released

Paradox and fatshark have released the first trailer featuring in-game footage for their upcoming release, War of the Roses. The trailer features pre-alpha footage of in-game combat. Being pre-alpha, the graphics are a little rough, but the gameplay looks solid. This is the first of many upcoming trailers in the “Death before Dishonor” series. The full game will feature over 60 different weapons with full animation for each, skill trees, and tactical single and multiplayer action. Paradox has teamed up with Multiplay to ensure the multiplayer experience is top-notch.

“Much like Paradox, Multiplay is a company that’s community driven and is dedicated to its loyal fan base, I jumped immediately at the chance to collaborate with them again,” said Gordon Van Dyke, Senior Producer at Paradox Interactive.“They are experts in online PC gaming and their feedback during these early stages of development has proven to be invaluable, we couldn’t have picked a better partner to help us fine tune the online experience for War of the Roses.”

Look for War of the Roses later this year on PC.
