Fuse Franchise to Expand

Insomniac Games is already expand their Fuse franchise and does not plan to stop anytime soon.

After taking heat from switching from Overstrike to FuseInsomniac Games began to make adjustments to the game, and is continuing to do so today, along with expanding the franchise itself.

Fans have always been provided with an open window to see the changes that have been made to Fuse, a prominent one being weaponry, and fans will continue to be able to see first-hand how the Fuse franchise will evolve.

There are no specific details as to what is in store for Fuse, but in a post by Ted Price, it is assured that the studio is not referring to just DLC:

We’ve already begun expanding what we’ve begun with Fuse. Right now as I write this we’re taking the core concepts behind Fuse and prototyping new stuff…stuff that leverages this bizarre alien substance which is at the heart of the game. No, I’m not talking about DLC. I’m talking about new Fuse experiences altogether.

What’s wonderful about creating and owning one’s IP is that you can take it any direction you want. And that’s what we’re going to do. Stay tuned!

It is unclear what direction the franchise will be heading , but hopefully in the near future fans will be provided an glimpse into the future of Fuse.
