Full Circle Podcast Episode 26: James Gunn, Doctor Who, and Funimation

Welcome back!

This week we come Full Circle (Episode 14: Gunns, Roses, & Rumors) with and update on James Gunn. After Disney fired Gunn as director of Guardians of the Galaxy, DC is giving him a second chance. In a mutual partnership, they’ll let him write and maybe direct Suicide Squad 2, and people might actually watch Suicide Squad 2. Next we also come back to Doctor Who, and the 13th Doctor Jodi Whittaker. Everyone is new this season, all the cast, the directors, and the writers! O’Dell has his “New to Who” perspective; now is a good time to start watching. Finally we wrap up with the Funimation-Crunchyroll break up. Sony has decided not to renew it’s third party content contract with Crunchyroll. For that reason, we expect other contracts to end too.
